What do you do when an appointment you’ve had for months suddenly gets canceled at the last minute? You go next door and buy stuff.
Where do I start? First, I am not someone who goes in for dry shampoos. If my second-day hair looks too oily, I wash it with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo. I know there are a million theories out there about why you should or shouldn’t wash your hair everyday but I really think it depends on your hair type and oil glands. However, I found myself really wishing that I had a dry shampoo a few weeks ago and decided it was time to at least try one out. I love the Macadamia Natural Oil line so I grabbed their Volumizing Dry Shampoo and can’t wait to see if it works.
The other Macadamia Natural Oil product I picked up is one that I am already slightly enamored with. The Deep Repair Masque makes my hair so, so soft and I am so happy to have found a tube of it instead of a tub. Can someone please tell me how long the tube has been around? Am I blind? Has it been on the shelf all along and I just didn’t see it!? I’ve been getting the tub for years now and can’t explain how much I loathe it! Water always seems to find its way inside no matter how careful I am, which makes it gross and diluted over time, and I’ve dropped it so many times try to screw the lid on with product in my hands …ugh! So, yes. I am very happy to have found the tube.
So, I have tried both of these Essie Nail Polishes now and have to admit that both look equally hideous with my skin tone. I will definitely be giving these away as soon as possible. The colors are gorgeous in the bottles and I have no doubt both will be gorgeous on someone else’s nails– just not mine. Oh, well. I can’t be too mad. I found Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque in a tube!
