Jane Iredale is one of my staple makeup brands. I found their Pure Pressed Mineral Base years and years ago, when I had my first cystic acne breakout. The breakout itself was a nightmare and took six months to heal, and this foundation helped save my confidence by covering the extreme redness covering half my face without clogging my pores. I also love Jane Iredale blushes and brow gels but I’d never thought about trying any of their eyeliners. Well, let me tell you– I’m happy that I finally did!
The Cream to Powder Eyeliners can be used as not only liners, but also as eyeshadows and even eyebrow powders, which I think is amazing. They also apply like a DREAM. I mean that, the consistency is delicious and slides on with an eyeliner brush so, so smoothly. Also, I had zero fallout as the eyeliner really is like a cream as it glides on and then sets as a powder.
Depending on if you want to build coverage, this eyeliner does exactly what I prefer for daytime– it is subtle but flattering and doesn’t sit on my lash line like a thick, harsh, solid black line. This liner is smoky and provides just the right effect to simultaneously lift my eyes as well as thicken the appearance of my lashes. It’s perfect!
The liner palette also includes three colors that allow you to blend the perfect color for any look. All in all, this was quite a deal and I’m absolutely pleased with my purchase.
Quick note: most Jane Iredale products are vegan and cruelty free.
